For four years, Grace Sullivan wrote to a Marine she never met, and fell in love. But when his deployment ended, so did the letters. Ever since that day, Grace has been coasting, academically and emotionally. The one thing she’s decided? No way is Noah Jackson — or any man — ever going to break her heart again.

Noah has always known exactly what he wants out of life. Success. Stability. Control. That’s why he joined the Marines and that’s why he’s fighting his way — literally — through college. Now that he’s got the rest of his life on track, he has one last conquest: Grace Sullivan. But since he  was the one who stopped writing, he knows that winning her back will be his biggest battle yet.

  1. Jen… I got heard about your book from a blog and loved the blurb. I read it in one day and fell in love with the story. Can’t wait to get Bo’s story.

  2. Really enjoyed this story! Read the whole book within a day (in between looking after my 2 year old and 3 month old). Beautifully written and great characters that draw you in. Cannot wait for Bo’s story next!!! Already recommended to my fellow kindle kin x

  3. I absolutely loved this book!! It was well written and an easy read. I have a new favorite author in Jen Federick! I will tell everyone! I can’t wait for Bo’s story!! I’m in love with all of them! I so hope to read more about them all 😉

  4. Loved this book so much I sayed up till 2am to finish. I couldn’t put it down. Cudos to you on a great debut. I can’t wait for the next book to come out .

  5. Loved this book. Very well written. Wish the author had more books to read now! Will be watching for Unspoken.

  6. This was a great read. Noah was hot, sweet and sensitive. Grace was very unsure of her direction. Easy read left some things out like did noah buy the yogurt shop

  7. I absolutely loved this book. Read and reread and sincerely wished it was longer. I can not wait for Bo’s story and I hope his love interest is not Lana nor Amy. I believe Lana is meant for some other Woodland boy 😉
Please write a novella for Noah and Grace…. I need more….

      1. I’m glad there will be a different heroine. I like both Lana & Amy but when I read a series I like the surprise of a new heroine. I prefer to learn about them in their story. I think Lana would be a good story heroine but I’m glad Bo won’t be her hero.

  8. Just finished the book. I have to say it is one of THE BEST military romances I’ve read so far.

I loved the premise of a pen pal relationship first. Then the ‘Friend Zoned’ kiss off letter. The stalking at the University… I just enjoyed every bit. The only thing that I question is the writing to each other for 4 years it mentioned in the book, then for 2 years no contact what so ever after Noah’s discharge, yet Grace is 19. That means that she would have started writing when she was 13… Is that correct? I thought she would have been older than 19. Anyway…

    Can’t wait for Bo’s tale!

    Thanks for a great read!

  9. Grace started writing when she was 14 and Noah was 17. He went in early. I think the rule is you only have to be 18 at the time you are in a combat zone, right?

Anyway, she is an old 19 in her second year of college.

  10. OMG!! I just read Noah’ s Dear John letter!!! I want to strangle him!!! Thank God I’ve already read Undeclared!!! And I loved the “tip it” from the school circle!!! Such a sexy masculine thing for guys to do!!!!
